Neons Are Your "Go-To" Lipstick Hues for Spring/Summer

If you liked the lipstick color "Silly" by Mac, you will loveeee the combination of "Shock Value" lip liner and "Chatterbox" lipstick by Mac. This gives the same bright pink hue as "Silly" which was discontinued.

Apply the lipliner first everywhere on your lips and then the lipstick. Finish off applying the liner over top again. This makes for long-lasting color.

My other obsession is "Ladybug" lipstick by MAC. Love this hue of red. It's sooo HOT! Unfortunately, not a long-lasting color IF you drink anything. I'm going to get a long-lasting red lip stain and try it underneath. Will let you know how it works out.. to be continued.. ~~

Red Lipstick is Trending

[Elle.com] has the top red lipsticks for under $30. If I was going to wear red, I'd buy Mac's hue of "Russian Red." Matte Mac lipsticks are my favorite. They're under $25. and Mac carries tons of hues. In my opinion, long-lasting glosses and lipsticks are very damaging.

Moisturize Your Lips 'n Keep it Trendy For Winter

Apply MAC's matte "Vegas Volt" lipstick, then gloss lips with Lancome's "Sun Bronze" Juicy Tube for a toasty warm hue. When the gloss wears off, you will still have color from the lipstick. Looks great with peachy rose blush & dark brown smokey eyeshadow.

Makeup Tips - How to Get Kim Kardashian's Soft Eye Shadow Look

As you probably know I'm a huge fan of KK, her makeup & her fashion.  I posted a link to tips from her makeup artist.  Rather than run out & buy a bunch more makeup, I tried mixing my stuff up to get a light beige with pink overtone.

To do this I first use Lancome's Latte matte eyeshadow as a base.  Then I add Lise Watier's light beige loose eyeshadow powder no 70948 & then 70937 over it.  When U use L.W. loose powders, U must use a dab of Metamorfix with it to hold it.  Then over this, I used Lancome's Burnt Sand.  That tones down the glitter that's in LW's pink and evens it all out.

Then use black or grey smashbox creme eyeliners with a mac eyeliner brush & you're set.

Seems like a lot of work, it's not.  I was really impressed with it & wanted to share.
