Lise Watier's spring collection has arrived in bright & pastal hues including the Palette Expression eyeshadow, expression blush trio, nail color and more. The company suggests that you apply each eye color with charcoal for a natural to dramatic look. I've been experimenting with pink and charcoal myself. I like it!

Makeup Tips From The Haus!

One of my favorite looks right now is purple smokey eyeshadow with purple liner on my top lid & aqua on the bottom with black over top to add depth and tone down the colors. To get the look do the below. I know it seems like a lot, but it gives a really nice purple smokey eyeshadow effect with a bit of glitter.

To get the look:

1. Use a beige base eyeshadow on lids.
2. Apply Lise Watier's Folie Violette to your eyelids and close to brows.
3. Apply Lise Watier's purple eyeshadow on top lids from SeaBelle compact
4. Apply M.A.C.'s Blacktrack fluidline cream eyeliner with a brush to upper lid & then Lise Watier's purple metal liner in "Deep Ocean" above it.
5. Apply Lise Watier's Eyeshine "Blue Lagoon" to lower lid and then apply Mac's black cream eyeliner over top.

Mascara Tips From The Haus!

New is the "Bottom Lash" mascara from Clinique which is designed to give precision control with a smudge-free formula. The magazine ads say it's only $10. I think I'll try it out.

If you're looking for a good mascara, Lise Watier's "Wow" mascara is a best seller. I've got it and I really like it. I usually mix it with Lancome's Definicils mascara for volume. If you really want volume, use Lancome's white lash primer first. That stuff is out of this world!

I haven't tried Watier's "24 Hour Glam Mascara" but my guy at the makeup counter said it's really good. Has anyone tried it?

When all else fails & you really want to glam your lashes up without looking like a freak.. lol.. try Sephora's Glam falsies. I think I'm going to pick some up. It's a little time consuming when you're first teaching yourself how to apply them, but if you can get them on your lashes just right without a lot of glue, they're a lot of fun. They're only $10 & come with the glue.

My Favorite Pro Makeup Must-Haves

These are some of my favorite pro makeup must-haves which I had to go through a bit of trial & error to find..

I find these Lise Watier loose powders combined with the liquid Metamorfix last the longest of all the pro eyeshadows "and" they don't expire! Both Smashbox & Mac's cream eyeliners can double up as a layer under your powder eyeshadow for a long lasting smokey eyeshadow. All of these products last forever & can all be mixed together. I love the gloss over the Mac lipstick.

Pink'n'Plum To Brighten Your Fall Makeup Colors

Use Lancome's "Plum Freeze" Juicy Tube over your favorite pink Pupa lipstick.

For eyes, use loose powder by Lise Watier, 70939 "Folie D'amour" hue with 70938 "Violette".

Then use cream eyeliner in "Midnight Purple" by Smashbox to set in the dark purple & you're on your way.

Makeup Tips - How to Get Kim Kardashian's Soft Eye Shadow Look

As you probably know I'm a huge fan of KK, her makeup & her fashion.  I posted a link to tips from her makeup artist.  Rather than run out & buy a bunch more makeup, I tried mixing my stuff up to get a light beige with pink overtone.

To do this I first use Lancome's Latte matte eyeshadow as a base.  Then I add Lise Watier's light beige loose eyeshadow powder no 70948 & then 70937 over it.  When U use L.W. loose powders, U must use a dab of Metamorfix with it to hold it.  Then over this, I used Lancome's Burnt Sand.  That tones down the glitter that's in LW's pink and evens it all out.

Then use black or grey smashbox creme eyeliners with a mac eyeliner brush & you're set.

Seems like a lot of work, it's not.  I was really impressed with it & wanted to share.
