Max Factor Smokey Eye Shadow Effect Pencils

I keep seeing these Max Factor smokey eye shadow pencils in the magazines.  I know how to do the smokey eye shadow effect & have explained earlier on with pro products, but am curious how well these work & for how long.

If anyone's tried it out, I'd appreciate the feedback.  I'll pick one up eventually and will let you know too.
