December is always a favorite month of mine to collect fashion magazines with all of the holiday couture. Lady Gaga covers the December issue of Harper's Bazaar where she writes an essay on the "portrait of a lady." Gaga talks about her family & new album, "Joanne" & more. Lady Gaga's Red Carpet Style at the Oscars

Lady Gaga wore Alaia for last night's Oscars. Gaga had posted that the dress took 1600 hours for embroidery with 25 people in Paris. This was also a first-time design project for Azzedine Alaia who actually designed 3 dresses for the occasion. What really stood out though and are now the talk of the town are those red gloves which were hand dyed. I do like the red with the white, especially the lipstick.

Lady Gaga's New Fragrance is a Must-Have

I finally had a chance to sample Lady Gaga's new fragrance, "Fame." I'm in obsession! It goes on strong and then fades into a nice sweet florally scent. Love the black fluid & futuristic bottle. Not a bad price either.. about $60 for 50 mls & $80 for a nice 100 ml bottle.

Lady Gaga Sets the World Record When Buying an Alexander McQueen Gown at Auction

Wednesday night, Lady Gaga broke the world record for auctioning, when she bid over $133,000 on this McQueen gown from Daphne Guinness. While on tour, Gaga bid by phone to the US, for this dress which is from the 2008 collection, "the Girl Who Lived in the Tree." Love how Lady Gaga continues supporting Alexander McQueen. Celebs in Leather Dresses

[Elle UK] has a section on celebs donning leather dresses. I can't decide if I'm a fan of leather dresses.. or not. I do think they look cutting edge like Nicole Richie in this pic. Love the combination of materials.

For obvious animal cruelty reasons, I think I'd prefer plastic but also because leather does give a bit. I think a thin, but lined, dress made of plastic like Lady Gaga's catsuit in her video for "Pokerface" would be tres chic!

"Gaga's Workshop" Opens at Barneys in New York

Lady Gaga's Workshop collabo with Barneys opened last night. It's huge! And totally fabulous. So impressive. Gaga's fans will be loving the massive collection of jewelry, holiday gift items, apparel and more. I LOVE the cute displays and Gaga's gown ensemble for the launch. Vanity Fair magazine has named Kate Middleton, Lady Gaga & Michelle Obama as "Best Dressed" for their 72nd International list. I love Kate's dress shown in this picture which apparently sent a rage of girls to the Reiss website to buy it, crashing the server. Kate looks great in this outfit. Read more at [US Magazine].
