Celebs in Leather Dresses

[Elle UK] has a section on celebs donning leather dresses. I can't decide if I'm a fan of leather dresses.. or not. I do think they look cutting edge like Nicole Richie in this pic. Love the combination of materials.

For obvious animal cruelty reasons, I think I'd prefer plastic but also because leather does give a bit. I think a thin, but lined, dress made of plastic like Lady Gaga's catsuit in her video for "Pokerface" would be tres chic!
