Lace-Up Bootie Heels

The designers are raging this style of boot right now. Mariah Carey brought a similiar style in with her HSN collection late last year with an open-toe. I haven't decided if I'm nay or yay. If I'm going to get this style, I would only pay a few hundred because I can't see this style sticking around for the long-term. What do you think?

These "Suebees" just came in at [Solestruck]. They come in beige and yellow patents & have a 2.5" heel.

Has anyone tried "flatforms" ??

I'm dying to try them out. Just been too heavily involved in my skyscraping chunks of heels.

Mascara Tips From The Haus!

New is the "Bottom Lash" mascara from Clinique which is designed to give precision control with a smudge-free formula. The magazine ads say it's only $10. I think I'll try it out.

If you're looking for a good mascara, Lise Watier's "Wow" mascara is a best seller. I've got it and I really like it. I usually mix it with Lancome's Definicils mascara for volume. If you really want volume, use Lancome's white lash primer first. That stuff is out of this world!

I haven't tried Watier's "24 Hour Glam Mascara" but my guy at the makeup counter said it's really good. Has anyone tried it?

When all else fails & you really want to glam your lashes up without looking like a freak.. lol.. try Sephora's Glam falsies. I think I'm going to pick some up. It's a little time consuming when you're first teaching yourself how to apply them, but if you can get them on your lashes just right without a lot of glue, they're a lot of fun. They're only $10 & come with the glue.

Khloe Kardashian Covers Cosmopolitan Magazine

Khloe covers the Middle East April issue of Cosmo magazine. See the pics & story at her [blog]. I love the cover & the pink. She looks totally gorgeous.

I think the only difference between her and her sisters is that she has lighter hair & green eyes and is taller than them. She's totally gorgeous too!

I read somewhere that she said even though she knows she's tall, she still loves her heels and wears them anyways. I have that too. If I wear my lower inches, at 3 inches, I can still see over everyone's heads on the sidewalk.. What's a girl to do! Anyways, love this issue. =)

Jessica Simpson Shoes in the Stores = Happy Me..

FINALLY ! The stores are bringing in more shoes from the Jessica Simpson Collection. So happy to see Jess's shoes in the stores!

I saw the Waleo, which is on the left, and the Astor shoe; both of which, literally stopped me in my tracks so I had to have a looksie.

The Waleo shoe in the powdered pearlized patent is a really nice color & shoe and the Astor is a perfect springtime heel. Both heels are a good height for the office or work. Have you seen how many colors and textures the Astor comes in??! It comes in 19 shades and textures, including suede, patent, metallics, cobra, denim, & croco! More chic items have come in from Bebe. I loveee these ruffled jumpsuits which are under $100 and I love this bandage dress which is made of silk. It's so pretty. Turquoise is a color which is always fashionable and in style.

Bebe's "Paulina Cork" sandal was featured in Elle Magazine for March. This shoe sold out so fast! It came in 5 different colors if I'm correct - beige, white, black, gold, and print. I got mine in print just as my size sold out! Bebe only has it in size 10 online!

Kim is posting tips & more on [Self] magazine's Facebook wall today where she's already posted. Another one of my favorite magazine covers! You wouldn't believe the stack of magazines I've got going on around here. Actually I've got 2 or 3 stacks! Keeps all my gfs entertained for hours.

I don't know if I've mentioned this or not, but if you look in your favorite import magazine shop, you may find that they sell previous copies discounted. You can also look in used bookstores that sell used magazines. That's one of my favorite past times. I can spend hours & hours going through all the magazines. The mags are half price too!

I'm totally obsessed with Nicole Richie's "House of Harlow 1960" jewelry collection. Have any of you bought anything from her collection? I think the prices are really reasonable considering the collection isn't costume jewelry. Looks like there's a lot of new pieces in too. I especially like the long chains and rings, with lockets that open. I see our Kim Kardashian is a fan too.

More Fine Shoes at Net-a-Porter.. My Favorite "Candy Store" !

More new shoes have come in at Net-a-Porter and these are just a few. If you miss going to their website for a day, it's like a month missed! I saw a HUGE Net-a-Porter ad in Vogue or Elle magazine, that was AT LEAST 4 pages long. Their stuff is all authentic. Victoria Beckham is always tweeting about her collection being in the online store.

There's nothing worse than "fakes," don't you think?! I don't care how real looking they are. That's why I say never NEVER buy high street designer items off of Craigslist, even if they are only half price because there are fakes that are so real you can't tell the difference... ! You can probably get the "real" shoe discounted & at the same price, if you look around enough.

I was looking through the Betsey Johnson Collection @ Zappos and it's worth checking out if you like the collection. There's tons of dresses and a lot of them are on sale. I love this ruffly little robe. It's so cute and only $63. Both of these dresses are on sale too. They're both really sweet little dresses.

This "watercolor cocktail dress" is new from the Jessica Simpson Collection. It crisscrosses across the top, bringing the material in at the waist. I'd wear it with the Massi shoe in white and this little "Katie" crossbody handbag, which is really adorable with its' pinwheel detail & chain strap.

Solestruck's been getting a huge variety of shoes in so be sure to check it out. I even posted the low-heelers for anyone who might like them. I, myself, will not look twice at a shoe that is under 4.5 inches. Unless it's flip flops for the beach or trainers. I do like the white "flatforms" on the top left. They come in black too.
